We are building the peer learning space the sector never got.
The Generosity Spectrum is a small New York company with a large idea: the people who practice generosity for a living deserve a better way to learn from one another than another recycled webinar. The Generosity Roundtable is our answer — the sector's first educational gaming system for nonprofit decision-making.
It started at a single table at The Connect Center for Youth in Cohoes, New York, and has been refined table by table with hosts, facilitators, and educators across the country.
Generosity is an identity, not a transaction
The game is grounded in philanthropic psychology — the study of why people give and what giving does for the giver. That is why we start with archetypes rather than tactics.
A network, not a product
A box is the doorway. What lasts is the Host Network: monthly games, facilitation calls, the Library of Generosity, and materials co-created with the people actually running tables.
One Host in every state
Our only primary goal for 2026 is at least one Host in every U.S. state, with 500 boxes as the stretch. Fifty games placed well beats five hundred placed carelessly.
Built in public, shared openly
The full rules are published for free, the wiki stays open to your whole organization, and the roadmap is shaped in the open with our Guardians.
